Originally intended to be Darrell & Dawn’s final recording, Godspeed became something very different—a reminder that sometimes God has other plans. What was meant to close one chapter instead became part of a new season of music, ministry, and songwriting.
 
Blending original songs, beloved hymns, and meaningful contemporary favorites, Godspeed reflects the faith, family, and experiences that continue to shape Darrell & Dawn’s journey. Among the album’s originals is “Promise Me (Caroline’s Song),” written by Darrell for their granddaughter Caroline—a deeply personal song carrying a grandfather’s love and a message she can hold onto throughout her life.
 
The album also marks an important milestone for Dawn as a songwriter. “Morning Light” and “Enough” are the first songs she has written, opening a new chapter in her own musical journey and giving listeners an even more personal glimpse into the faith and experiences behind the duo’s music.
 
From timeless faith in “My Jesus I Love Thee” to songs of hope, surrender, and restoration, Godspeed is a collection that reminds us that even when we think we know where the road ends, God may simply be leading us somewhere new.
